My post for Lesson 1. Here goes!
I searched through the nearly three thousand photos I have stored on my computer, and decided that these three are my favorites.
The top is a picture of my dad playing with my dog, Enzo. It is one of my favorites because it does an excellent job of portraying the personalities of the two, and I also had fun taking pictures of my dad and dog being goofy. The best part was that they weren’t posing. This is them in their “natural environment.”
The bottom left is a picture of a frog that I found hanging out in my pool in the summertime. The frogs love to come out, sing, have parties, and mate in my pool during summer evenings, and this little guy was one of the party-goers last year. The shot was also really fun to take, and I spent the whole night trying to get goofy shots of the frogs. I also love how the lighting worked out. I ended up with the third one (bottom right) as well, which I like because I couldn’t believe I’d gotten so lucky with my timing as to snap the frog mid-croak.
